Samay Raina breaks silence

In a shocking turn of events, comedian and India’s Got Latent host Samay Raina announced on Wednesday that he had deleted all episodes of his show from YouTube. The decision comes after immense public backlash, legal action, and widespread protests, including the burning of effigies, following an “inappropriate” joke made by guest Ranveer Allahbadia. While the move has disappointed fans, many are now anxious about the fate of the yet-to-be-released episodes featuring popular celebrities.

Which episodes were unreleased?

Instagram user @raptile_sayzz compiled images of all the unreleased episodes, revealing that they featured:

  • Influencer Uorfi Javed and filmmaker Farah Khan, alongside comedian Tanmay Bhat
  • Actor Mallika Sherawat with Bigg Boss winner Munawar Faruqui
  • Cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal
  • Veteran actors Dalip Tahil and Ashish Vidyarthi
  • Comedian-actor Bhuvan Bam (whose episode was still in the pipeline)

Fans expressed their disappointment, with one writing, “At least release the OG episodes, you betrayers!” Another joked, “Wish we could time-travel and delete just that one scene!” Some even suggested unconventional ways to release the episodes, proposing platforms like PornHub, OnlyFans, or even Pakistan as alternatives.

  • Samay Raina Breaks Silence on the Controversy

In his first official statement since the controversy erupted, Samay Raina, 27, expressed his distress over the situation and confirmed his cooperation with investigative agencies. “Everything that is happening has been too much for me to handle. I have removed all India’s Got Latent videos from my channel. My only objective was to make people laugh and have a good time. I will fully cooperate with all agencies to ensure their inquiries are concluded fairly. Thank you,” Raina wrote on X. The controversy took a legal turn when YouTube removed the problematic episode following central government orders on Tuesday.
